Roast Chicken
I know this looks like dinner but it was actually breakfast. It had been intended for Sunday night’s dinner, but that didn’t happen so I made it for Monday’s breakfast.
Grilled Drumsticks
Simple Saturday night dinner. Easy work night dinner. Marinated chicken drumsticks in harissa, garlic, olive oil, juice of a lemon, salt, pepper , a little cumin and turmeric while the grilled heated. Cooked over a combination of direct and indirect heat. Served with buttered basmati rice and Greek green beans.
Grilled Quail
Butterflied Quail Marinated early in the day with garlic, lemon zest, oregano, salt, pepper and olive oil. And about an hour before going on the grill, I squeezed the juice of one large lemon over the birds. Grilled started over direct heat and finished over indirect heat.
