Portuguese Style Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Grilled boneless chicken breast
served on a toasted kaiser, garnished with lettuce and tomatoes
and topped with a spicy mayo/piri piri sauce.
There are  many recipes on line for Piri Piri sauce with some variation.
It is easy to make.
Using a mini Food Processor, I pulsed ten little red chile peppers  with two cloves of garlic, the juice of half a lemon, salt and  olive oil.
You can adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less olive oil.

Brushed the chicken breasts with the Piri Piri sauce before grilling.

The piri piri sounds like a great sauce. Just the thing to add sparkle to a sandwich. I'm heading to the store in an hour and will pick up some chile peppers.
