Summer

We have been  overdosing on
 Caprese Salads.

I love tomatoes, especially summer tomatoes.

One of our local grocery stores carries Heirloom Tomatoes.

I’ve been splurging ($4.99 lb) and buying yellow Heirlooms
and
Black Krim Tomatoes (My favourite)
One night we added Proscuitto and Melon
to the platter and called it dinner.
My favourite way to serve Proscuitto and Melon is drizzled with a good quality olive oil and sprinkled with fresh ground black pepper.

It isn’t often that I crave a salad,
but I think I could eat this salad every day in the summer and not get tired of it.

Never get tired of a selection like that… I hate the prices on those tomatoes… more than meat… but wow they taste amazing and are worth it. Gorgeous dish~
