Lori of All That Splatters is hosting this weeks Weekend Blog Showcase. I hope you will join us in sharing a recipe found on a fellow blogger’s website.
This week I’m showcasing the Eating Club Vancouver.
When we lived in Vancouver, Moe and I would go out for dim sum at least once a week. We had three or four favourite places and one of the restaurants was the Shanghai Chinese Bistro on Alberni Street.
When I saw the picture of Wontons on the Eating Club Vancouver they reminded me of the spicy chili wontons served at the Shanghai Chinese Bistro. I decided to surprise Moe with a Wonton dinner. First course – Wonton Soup
followed by spicy chili wontons.
I adapted the recipe to suit my taste, but you can find the original version on the Eating Club Vancouver’s wonderful website.

I have some frozen wontons in the freezer that I made for soup. I love the idea of the chili ones so will gladly replicate this recipe.

I'm such a wonton fan and it's been too long since I've made them myself. Yours turned out beautifully! I need to put these on the menu very soon!
