Fajitas

Marinated Flank Steak,
peppers and onions, all done on the grill and served with
homemade warm flour tortillas and homemade salsa.
Black beans with cheese and salsa as a side.
This was one of those dinners that was a  Hit and a Miss.
A hit for Moe.  He loved his dinner.
But it was miss for me.
I remembered why I never cook flank steak
I DON’T LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!.
Just one of those cuts of beef that I don’t care for.
Instead I should have used a couple of New York Strip steaks.
Or better yet, grilled a couple of chicken breasts.

Hello Sorry you hated your dinner. I don't like flank steak either, but I thought strip steak was the same thing? And I have a request: I've searched with Blogger search, and my browser search for pesto, did not find. Would that be because you don't like that either? Haha. I'm thinking I want to make pesto with different herb/nut mixes. Any thoughts? S.

    It certainly looks great.

  3. Looks tasty to me! Sorry they weren't to your liking, but I'm sure Moe was more than happy! 😀

  4. A wonderful pesto I made because I had so much was using arugala. Yum and I hear nettles are great too!

  5. Annoymous. Glad I'm not the only one to dislike Flank Steak. There is a big difference between a flank steak and a New York Strip Steak. I like pesto, but prefer the more traditional pesto made with basil, garlic, pine nuts, parmesan and olive oil. Although I also like this lemon pesto. Great as a marinade for shrimp/prawns but also wonderful on pasta.Link to recipe:https://sites.google.com/site/thibeaultstablerecipes/lemon-pesto?tmpl=%2Fsystem%2Fapp%2Ftemplates%2Fprint%2F&showPrintDialog=1
