The veal was pounded out thin, dipped in seasoned flour, beaten egg and fresh grated bread crumbs seasoned with fresh grated Parmesan cheese and pan fried. Before breading, the veal was rubbed with a little garlic puree. TIP: Use a microplane to grate the garlic.
Tonight’s dinner was Veal Schnitzel with fried potatoes and simmered green beans.
The potatoes were deep fried and then tossed with fried onions.
How is that for a low fat dinner. LOL.
At least the green beans weren’t fried. But they were simmered in chicken broth with a couple of slices of bacon tossed in for good measure.
