Apple Pie

I was up early yesterday morning so I decided to bake an apple pie. Apples from a friends tree. Last night’s dessert with ice cream. Moe had a piece this morning with his second cappuccino.  And just to make it a little more decadent I made a salted caramel sauce. 

Artichoke Pesto Pizza

We grew a number of basil plants this summer and  Matt kept us in pesto. A couple of times this month when I was baking bread, I used some of the dough to make Matt Artichoke Pesto Pizzas. Pizzas were baked at 600°F on a stone on the grill.
