Pasta with a Pork, Tomato and Basil Sauce

One of my favourite pasta dishes.
Very quick to make.
I let the sauce simmer for 45 to 60 minutes.
You could make this with ground beef, chicken or turkey, but I  prefer ground pork.
I like using shell shaped pasta as it picks up all the little pieces of meat.

Pork Meat sauce with Tomatoes and Basil

1 pound lean ground pork
1 small onion chopped
2 to 3 garlic cloves
2 cups coarsely chopped tomatoes
1 cup of chicken broth
Crushed Red Chili Flakes
Dried basil
Fresh rosemary
Fresh basil

Brown ground pork in a little olive oil.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic.
Saute until onions are tender.   Add the chopped tomatoes, dried basil, Chili Flakes,
rosemary and chicken broth.  Season with salt and Pepper , cover and
simmer for 45 minutes.

Just before serving add the chopped basil.
Serve over your favourite pasta shape.
