I was totally out of homemade bread. So, I decided to get a little ahead of the game this week. Monday, I kneaded up a double batch, baked four baguettes and refrigerated the other half to use later this week. I’ll probably bake a pizza and a couple of more loaves between now and the weekend.
On Tuesday, I made another double batch and baked 8 loaves, rather than baguettes. Gave one away to a new neighbour and the rest went into the freezer.
I now bake my own bread too. When they turn out this good, it's hard paying for them from outside.
adoro fare il pane..questo è stupendo! complimenti!
I wish I was your neighbor Ann!How lucky are they!L~xo
There must be a house for sale in your neighborhood! Just giving you advanced notice that I am coming soon. Get the bread ready!!!!
Hey Ann- Great looking bread- I've got 4 baguettes in the oven right now and then I'm making a rustic loaf for one of my co-workers- Great minds think alike! Happy Baking!
You are the only one in the world that bakes bread like this.
These are absolutely beautiful!
I recently learned to make my own rustic loaf at home. I had never had any success at bread baking. Ever since a guy shared his source (NYT no knead bread recipe), I'll bake my own. Your loafs look fabulous!
